Dealing with meetings

The cours aims to empower and equip service users with the tools to be involved at different types of meetings, with a focus on structure and roles. It looks at ways that service users can make effective contributions to meetings and forums.

Duration: Half day

Areas covered:

  • Purpose of meetings
  • Structures and roles – who does what, how and why
  • Contributing constructively – how
  • Putting forward ideas at a meeting

(This is to give you an idea, however all courses can be tailored to your specific needs)

Additional Notes: This course is ideal for service user reps or service users who want to attend meetings / forums. It can be adapted to focus on care and support plan meetings and conferences.
